KeePass Password Security

I’ve accumulated many usernames and passwords for various website, network, e-mail and other accounts over the years. It would have been simple to just use the same username and password for each of these accounts but that is not a good practice. So there I was with all these website locations, account names and passwords and no simple way to keep up with them. I’d initially used a Microsoft Word and Excel file but I wanted to find a utility specifically designed for this purpose. Then came KeePass! It is a free open source password manager, which helps you to manage your passwords in a secure way. You can put all your passwords in one database, which is locked with one master key or a key file. So you only have to remember one single master password or select the key file to unlock the whole database.
